Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking on-site Medical Scribes to document patient visits in real time, working with doctors to capture histories, exams, tests, and treatments in compliance with HIPAA.

No prior experience required; we offer paid training through Scribe University and hands-on clinical instruction, plus real-life mentorship and growth opportunities. Roles include full-time and part-time shifts with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed 40+ WPM required.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
