Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a front-of-store Loss Prevention associate to deter theft and support store safety.

You will wear a Body Worn Camera, assist customers, and collaborate with store teams and loss prevention to protect the company brand. Ideal candidates have strong verbal and written communication, solid decision making, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound decision making abilities.
• Ability to take initiative and work well independently.
• Prioritizes and organizes workload with good time management.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• 0–2 years of retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain front-of-store presence in designated area.
• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear Company uniform and a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Stand at the front of the store or in a department as needed.
• Refer customers to management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with management.
• Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
