Burlington Stores is hiring a Shortage Control Associate in Union City, CA. You will monitor entrances and high-risk areas to deter theft while delivering friendly customer service, building trust with customers and associates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to deter theft and maintain a secure shopping environment.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and confident greeting to promote a sense of control and security.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and safety procedures.
• Communicate theft prevention information during store rallies and collaborate with leadership.
