Job summary

Elite-Recruiting- is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to provide first-level technical support across hardware, software, and network issues. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining IT assets, and delivering strong customer service to ensure reliable business technology operations.

The role requires strong communication, experience with Windows and Office, and familiarity with ticketing systems. Onsite work at multiple facilities is expected with potential local travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, remote support, and in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and apps.
• Use remote support tools to resolve user issues.
• Create, prioritize, update, and close tickets in the ticketing system.
• Maintain documentation, knowledge base, and IT asset inventories.
• Assist users with Microsoft Office, email, browsers, and mobile devices.
• Provide end-user training on software, security, and IT best practices.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.
• Maintain high customer service levels and meet SLAs.
