Job summary

Standard Supply & Distributing Co. in the DFW area seeks a frontline Technology Support Technician to handle tickets end-to-end, diagnose issues, document work, and close tickets with minimal guidance.

The role covers endpoints, patching, and identity management in a Windows/Microsoft 365 environment, supporting two companies, and collaborating on rollouts. Strong written communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Needed: at least one year in a help desk seat with real ticket volume and broad system exposure.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server environments, print services, basic networking, and Microsoft 365 tenant administration.
• Clear written communicator; most of this job happens in writing.
• Proven multitasker with the ability to prioritize and work multiple requests as they land.
• Valid driver's license, willing to travel occasionally to branch locations.
• Nice to have: Epicor P21 or another distribution ERP, Intune, Cisco Meraki, certifications.

Responsibilities

• Take your assigned tickets from first touch to resolution, diagnose, fix, document, and escalate when needed.
• Deploy, patch, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals; manage user lifecycle in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• First-line support for business applications and everyday Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive).
• Take on defined pieces of rollouts, migrations, and endpoint refreshes with a senior teammate.
