Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Frontline Associate at the Sierra store in Pittsburgh, PA to promote a highly-satisfied customer experience and support store operations.

You will collaborate with team members to ensure smooth register transactions, assist with training, and uphold cash controls and merchandising standards. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and a readiness to handle money and assist

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
• Available to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work as a team member.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Able to lift heavy merchandise with/without accommodations.
• Able to train and provide direction to others.
• Able to run a register/handle money.
• Must handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience as a coordinator or previous retail/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a "Highly-Satisfied" customer experience
• Drives customer loyalty through programs and initiatives
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly
• Trains and mentors Associates on Policies and Procedures
• Maintains cash controls including change fund
• Adheres to labor laws and meal/break policies
• Assigns registers and coordinates breaks for coverage
• Audits and approves paperwork
• Maintains cleanliness and merchandising standards
• Monitors frontline equipment and reports issues
• Executes and adheres to Company directives
• Maintains merchandise and queue-line standards
• Follows loss prevention policies and procedures
• Promotes safe environment and reports hazards
• Other duties as assigned
