Job summary

ERM, the world’s largest dedicated team of EHS professionals, seeks a Consultant in environmental health and safety for the San Francisco Bay Area. You will support Fortune 500 clients with onsite EHS programs, navigate regulatory landscapes, and implement best-in-class safety practices.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, incident investigations, and developing innovative EHS solutions while traveling regionally to client sites. Collaborative, client‑focused communication is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or related science.
2+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
Willingness to travel to client sites within Northern California.

Responsibilities

Help develop and implement innovative EHS programs for clients across industries.
Conduct safety risk assessments, inspections, and observations for compliance and protection.
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality EHS solutions.
