Job summary

AAFES is seeking a Customer Experience Associate at the Exchange. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help with merchandise and orders, providing a welcoming, high-quality service in a retail environment.

You will learn current technology needs, cross-train across departments, and maintain accurate cash handling while supporting military families and staff with a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent; retail experience.
• Must be 21 or older; excellent customer service and computer proficiency.
• Willing to cross-train and cover hours including evenings/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess needs to deliver personalized shopping.
• Provide product knowledge and maintain merchandise presentation.
• Handle price changes, orders, and rain checks; assist with special orders.
• Promote Military Star card and protection plans to drive sales.
• Operate cash register and handle multiple tender types with accuracy.
• Ensure store safety, security and loss prevention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
