Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Customer Account Specialist I to be the face of Amcor for our North America customers. You will handle orders, liaise with Sales and other functions, and ensure accurate processing.

The role emphasizes building loyalty, resolving issues, and following SLAs, with exposure to shipping, inventory, and document provisioning. Bachelor’s degree is preferred and MS Office basics are expected. Local onsite work in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing and/or Customer Service environment preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard business software.

Responsibilities

• Build customer loyalty through positive engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales and other functions on escalated issues related to orders, inventory and shipments.
• Process orders accurately and monitor progress; provide status updates and alternatives as needed.
• Initiate releases for shipments and ensure delivery dates are met.
• Manage outside warehousing shipments and basic inventory programs.
• Create and maintain material masters with Sales/Marketing/Product Data.
• Provide customers with documents such as BOL, POD, COA and invoices.
• Record and address non-conformances with corrective action plans.
