Job summary

Specialized is seeking a Service Technician to be the frontline ambassador for riders, delivering expert service and driving in-store brand experiences. You will work directly with riders on-site and remotely to identify needed services and opportunities for a quicker, smoother ride.

You will collaborate with staff, assist with bike sales through technical consulting, and maintain high standards of rider satisfaction while supporting store profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
• Bike shop or bike mechanic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with riders and team members.
• Must be able to work weekends as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Meet and connect with riders; assess needs and offer options from the service menu.
• Provide expert bike knowledge and act as the brand expert for technical matters.
• Deliver friendly, enthusiastic, wow customer service.
• Complete service work orders accurately and schedule repairs accordingly.
• Assist customers with product/service choices and up-sell where appropriate.
• Build knowledge of merchandise to provide accurate information to riders.
