Job summary

Pearson's PSG-CP team invites a forward deployed engineer to work directly with internal stakeholders and ship working software in production. You’ll be embedded with business lines to understand pain points, design end-to-end systems, and deploy AI-powered solutions using LLMs, agents, and retrieval technologies.

You will operate autonomously in ambiguity, owning frontend, backend, data, and observability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with production systems
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system design
• Frontend: React + TypeScript, modern component architecture, robust UX

Responsibilities

• Go where the problem is and build end-to-end systems for internal stakeholders
• Conduct real discovery by observing users and translating needs into buildable solutions
• Ship production AI applications using frontier LLMs, agents, and retrieval systems
• Own the full stack from frontend to observability for deployed services
• Iterate quickly across multiple engagements and refine patterns for re-use
