The AI Whistleblower Initiative is seeking a Research Manager to organize and drive a multi-disciplinary backlog of AI whistleblowing guidance research. You will recruit and manage external researchers, scope projects, and shepherd outputs from draft to publication for insiders and partners.

You will work with leadership to prioritize strategic questions, ensure timely delivery, and shape how research informs guidance and preparedness efforts for critical disclosures.

Qualifications

• Excellent judgment on research quality.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and external contractors.
• Desire to gain rapid understanding of whistleblowing domains (policy, law, psychology).
• Collaborator and networker with a track record of building research programs.

Responsabilités

• Own backlog management and translate priorities into concrete, scoped research questions.
• Source researchers and manage engagements from kickoff to publication.
• Lead draft-to-published pipeline across formats (publications, guides, tools).
• Develop and maintain research infrastructure and templates for scale.
• Provide feedback on drafts and keep engagements on track.
