Job summary

AIWI seeks a policy leader to strengthen AI whistleblowing protections and advise regulators on the design of safe, effective disclosure channels. You will shape federal and state policy, draft model language, and help agencies and offices implement robust whistleblower provisions for AI.

You will build coalitions, track bills, and collaborate with Congress, agencies, and advocacy partners, with a focus on practical policy solutions and nonpartisan, impactful work across the civilian security

Qualifications

• Policy or advocacy experience in AI or whistleblowing.
• Ability to rapidly build understanding of the other area.
• Knowledge of how bills are passed and network to enable work.
• Willingness to engage with Congress, agencies, and state bodies.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and inform legislation and regulator-level whistleblowing channels for AI insiders.
• Provide input on federal/state whistleblower bills and AI bills with whistleblowing implications.
• Draft model language for whistleblower provisions and assist staffers.
