Reflection is seeking a Research Program Manager to embed with our Pre-training ML and Data teams in New York. You will accelerate frontier model development by linking research, data, and infrastructure, driving cross-team initiatives, prioritizing experiments, and delivering clear technical recommendations.

You bring 7+ years of technical program management or ML operations, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and align multiple stakeholders to a common path forward.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, research operations, or ML engineering.
• Deep understanding of model architecture, scaling laws, data pipelines, training dynamics, and optimizer behavior.
• Ability to embed within technical teams and earn trust through competence and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Embed within pre-training ML and Data teams to understand the technical landscape and identify high-impact programs.
• Drive end-to-end execution of cross-team research initiatives spanning data, model architecture, training, and evaluation.
• Coordinate the operational rhythm of pre-training research including experiment prioritization and data readiness.
• Provide leadership with deep technical tradeoffs and clear, actionable recommendations.
