Job summary

The Navy Exchange Service Command is seeking a Supervisory Sales Associate to lead frontline customer service at NBSD Home Store. You will be the face of the store, guiding customers, promoting products, and maintaining a positive work environment for the sales team.

Responsibilities include coaching associates, organizing merchandise, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in inventories and reports.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail or relevant work experience required.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage and connect with customers.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about promotions and events.
• Maintain store appearance and organize product layout; upsell and cross-sell.
• Provide coaching and direction to sales associates; supervise daily tasks and schedules.
• Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and basic paperwork/reconciliation.
