Job summary

Aff is a remote-first company focused on providing clear, predictable payment experiences. This role works across frontend surfaces, collaborating with product, design, analytics, and other engineers to deliver scalable web and mobile features.

You will design, develop, and ship APIs and UI components using React, Vue, Kotlin, and Python, while maintaining high code quality and ownership of growth. A Bachelor's or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale with Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to take a simple problem and implement it across multiple components with well-tested, extensible code.
• Comfort debugging a large codebase and providing feedback via code reviews.
• Proactive in seeking feedback and owns personal growth.
• Strong written and verbal communication for collaboration with a global team.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Break down large projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation and trade-offs.
• Support operations by creating/monitoring metrics and on-call efforts.
• Contribute to team growth through interview participation.
