Job summary

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) seeks a Frontend Developer for the Integrated Mission Systems team in San Diego, CA. It is an on-site role focusing on secure, integrated software for Navy DoD systems.

The engineer will design, build, test, and deliver scalable frontend solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet mission requirements while complying with security and DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a software-related field or equivalent full-time experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience, with React or modern JavaScript.
• Experience building and maintaining UI components and front-end features.
• Experience using REST APIs and integrating backend services.
• Debugging across environments and knowledge of performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deliver frontend software and related architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement front-end and back-end features.
• Adhere to DoD security, reliability, and performance standards; participate in reviews.
• Support deployment pipelines, containerization, and Kubernetes-based environments.
