Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to join the IMS team in San Diego, CA. You will lead a team responsible for Linux/Windows infrastructures supporting virtualized testing of Naval Tactical Systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS/IT or equivalent experience, 7+ years in IT/system engineering, and active Secret clearance eligibility. On-site work with DISA/STIG compliance and RMF readiness supported by IDT benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of IT/sys engineering experience with DoD/Naval or combat systems preferred.
• Experience with virtualization platforms and networked systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a matrixed team of systems and network engineers.
• Provide IT systems support for Linux/Windows in lab and Navy environments.
• Install and evaluate hardware and plan future architectures.
