Job summary

Reddit is seeking a skilled Frontend engineer for the Brand Ad Formats team to drive web ad experiences and innovative formats. You will work across product, design, and engineering to deliver high-value, data-driven advertising solutions while maintaining a strong focus on performance and reliability.

You’ll own the full development cycle, contribute to visible ad initiatives, and collaborate in a fully remote environment with highly cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Web Engineering.
• Proficient in Typescript and Javascript.
• Willing to tackle data-intensive, highly responsive apps.
• Experience with automated testing best practices, code quality/design patterns, observability, etc.
• Skilled at performing insightful code reviews, and receiving feedback themselves.
• Experience leveraging GenAI tools to increase software engineering productivity.
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build Ad experiences and create patterns for Reddit’s web app that enhance our ads’ performance and functionality.
• Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams to innovate and implement sophisticated solutions for complex challenges.
• Engage in the full development cycle: design, develop, QA, experiment, analyze, and deploy.
