Reddit is seeking a senior frontend engineer with deep JavaScript, TypeScript, and React experience to shape the next generation of advertiser tools. You’ll own complex frontend areas from technical design through launch and iteration, collaborating with product, design, data science, and backend teams to turn sophisticated capabilities into simple, dependable workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production web apps with JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
• Ability to deliver complex frontend projects from design through launch.
• Strong judgment on frontend architecture, state management, testing and API integration.
• Experience building polished UIs with usability, performance and accessibility in mind.
• Comfort solving ambiguous product and technical problems.
• Excellent communication across engineering, product, design and data.
• Experience using instrumentation and product metrics to improve UX.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and delivery of complex frontend features across Ads Manager workflows.
• Translate AI-backed capabilities into advertiser-friendly interfaces.
• Collaborate with product and design to clarify ambiguous requirements and tradeoffs.
• Develop reusable frontend patterns and components for a unified campaign creation experience.
• Instrument experiences, evaluate results, and guide iteration with data.
• Improve codebase quality through architecture, testing, and accessibility.
• Provide code reviews and technical mentorship to teammates.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, data, and ML systems for end-to-end experiences.
