Job summary

Reddit is seeking a senior frontend engineer to shape the next generation of advertiser tools. You will own complex frontend features from technical design through launch, working with product, design, data science, and backend teams to deliver fast, accessible experiences for advertisers.

You will focus on architecture alongside the details that make products intuitive and maintainable, driving experiments and data-informed iterations across Ads Manager workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production web applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Proficient with agentic coding tools (Codex, Cursor, Claude) in daily development.
• Strong track record delivering complex frontend projects from design through launch.
• Sound judgment in frontend architecture, state management, testing, and API integration.
• Experience building polished UIs with usability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Ability to work through ambiguous product and technical problems.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with product, design, data science, and backend teams.
• Experience using instrumentation, experimentation, or product metrics to improve UX.
• Commitment to engineering quality through code reviews and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and delivery of complex frontend features across Ads Manager’s workflows.
• Translate AI-backed capabilities into user-friendly interfaces advertisers can understand and steer.
• Collaborate with product and design to resolve ambiguous requirements and tradeoffs.
• Develop reusable frontend patterns and components for a unified campaign creation experience.
• Instrument experiences, evaluate results, and guide iteration with data and experiments.
• Improve code quality through architecture improvements, testing, and observability.
• Provide high-quality code reviews and technical guidance to peers.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, data, and ML systems for end-to-end experiences.
