Job summary

Burlington in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will monitor store entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with a warm smile, and support theft-reduction programs.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to visually monitor store environment.
Excellent communication with customers and co-workers; positive demeanor and energetic greeting.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft and maintain security.
Greet every customer with a warm smile and a confident, friendly greeting.
Conduct bag and package checks in accordance with safety standards and report theft incidents to management.
Support and train associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
