Burlington is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure, customer-friendly store environment. You will monitor entrances, greet customers warmly, and apply loss-prevention practices with confidence and discretion.

This role emphasizes collaboration with store leadership, avoidance of theft opportunities, and participation in training on shortage reduction. Part-time schedule with evenings, weekends, and holidays required; base pay starts at $15.92 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor store environment.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Monitor store entrances and the entire shift with vigilance to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer entering or exiting with a warm smile and friendly greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty.
• Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates, ensuring safety standards.
• Support training of associates on shortage reduction programs.
