Burlington is seeking a part-time Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering friendly customer service. You will monitor store entrances, greet customers with a warm smile, and report any theft or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.

Training others on shortage reduction programs is part of the role and you will work with leadership to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and to visually monitor store environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers; strong posture and energetic greeting.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a professional appearance and greet every customer entering or exiting the store with a warm, confident greeting.
• Monitor entrances/exits and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities and maintain security standards.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and store security policies.
