Burlington Stores is seeking a Shortage Control Associate in Charlotte, NC. You will monitor entrances, assist customers with a friendly greeting, and help reduce theft while upholding store safety and high service standards.

The role emphasizes presence at the front of the store, reporting theft incidents to the Manager on Duty, and training fellow associates on shortage reduction programs. Excellent communication and a positive demeanor are key.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to visually monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
• Ability to review, analyze and comprehend business trends.
• Ability to exhibit a positive demeanor, strong posture, and energetic greeting.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with detailed focus and disciplined decision making.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.
• Excellent leadership skills that support fostering productive business relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor store entrances and exits and high-risk areas to mitigate theft and maintain safety.
• Identify and report theft incidents and suspicious persons to the Manager on Duty.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and energetic greeting to promote security and a positive experience.
• Provide support in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
• Maintain professional appearance and dress standards; stay vigilant and aware of surroundings.
