Job summary

Thompson Austin – 5th and Brazos is seeking an energetic Assistant Front Office Manager to support daily Front Office operations and guest services. You will help supervise colleagues, manage schedules, and assist with hiring, training, and payroll processes to uphold Hyatt standards.

This role requires flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, and a passion for delivering thoughtful service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of one year previous front office supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support daily Front Office operations and colleague performance
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
• Assist with hiring, training, and ongoing development of team members
• Process payroll and support accurate timekeeping practices
• Provide personalized service and support for VIP guests
• Ensure guest satisfaction goals and service standards are consistently met
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience
• Promote and enforce safety standards and operational procedures
