Wurzak Hotel Group is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to support the Guest Services department at our property, Element Valley Forge. This role oversees the front desk and night audit teams, focusing on guest and staff satisfaction. Ideal candidates will be driven, focused on guest satisfaction, and capable of leading and developing team members.

The hotel operates 24/7, requiring flexibility in shifts, start and end times, and weekly hours.

Essential Functions
  • Assist in interviewing and supervising front office staff.
  • Review staff performance regularly to ensure policy adherence.
  • Handle check-in/check-out, billing verification, reservations, and special requests.
  • Provide guests with information about the hotel and local attractions.
  • Foster open, collaborative relationships with team members and management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
  • Investigate and resolve service and accommodation complaints.
  • Monitor budgets, payroll, and financial transactions for appropriateness.
  • Continuously analyze processes for improvements and efficiency.
  • Support occupancy management, guest service, and expense control.
  • Identify service issues and develop solutions to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Balance cost control with high-quality guest service and staff satisfaction.
  • Maintain strict key control, safety, and security standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Candidates should have a combination of education and experience demonstrating the following:

  • Two-year college degree or equivalent hospitality experience.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Reliability, multitasking ability, and resilience under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Willingness to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
