• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and provides excellent customer service.
• Checks in and checks out patients for physician appointments.
• Verifies patient demographics, PCPs, referring physicians, insurance coverage and co-pays.
• Enters patient demographic information into the practice management system.
• Verifies and distributes patient history documents.
• Scans/sorts forms related to front office processes.
• Manages and coordinates internal referrals.
• Schedules return appointments for patients.
• Collects copayments, patient balances and form fees.
• Distributes requested documents to patients.
• Completes end-of-day batch processes.
• Maintains and communicates patient wait times.
