Job summary

Aspen Suites Hotel Anchorage, under ANTHC Lodging at Old Seward, seeks an energetic Operations Manager to lead the Front Desk and guest services. The role collaborates with the General Manager to optimize daily hotel operations and drive exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will develop teams, manage reservations and payroll, and partner with Housekeeping and Maintenance to sustain high service levels and property performance. Extended shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of hospitality leadership in Front Office or equivalent roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to coach and develop staff while maintaining accountability.
• Excellent guest service and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Desk operations and guest services to ensure excellent experience.
• Manage reservations, front office systems, inventory, and scheduling.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop Front Desk staff to high performance.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance for seamless operations.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor feedback and implement service-improvement strategies.
• Assist in labor cost management, payroll accuracy, and productivity.
