Sightline Hospitality is seeking a Front Office Manager for a soon to open Field and Stream Hotel, a 177 room Hotel in Bozeman, Montana.

Responsibilities
- Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a friendly, helpful, timely, and professional manner.
- Hire, train, schedule, support, and review front office employees, ensuring high levels of employee morale and department productivity.
- Provide gracious and sincere customer service to all arriving and departing hotel guests and visitors.
- Coordinate daily arrival/departure preparation, special requests, room assignments, and guest amenity/recognition programs.
- Communicate service and amenities of the hotel to guests and provide Concierge service as needed.
- Handle all guest complaints diplomatically and effectively, referring to the General Manager if necessary.
- Maximize hotel revenue through salesmanship and maintenance of the Yield Management system.
- Assist in preparing annual departmental budget as directed by the General Manager.
- Monitor and control departmental expenditures to meet operational standards while maintaining the annual budget.
- Work closely with other departments to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining room inventory status to achieve optimal revenue levels while ensuring high guest expectations.
- Coordinate relocation of guests when necessary.
- Conduct regular inventories of front office supplies to ensure adequate stock and timely orders.
- Work with the General Manager to create comprehensive training/reference material for staff.
- Train staff on all SOPs and ensure understanding and compliance.
- Complete payroll and timekeeping logs to specifications.
- Ensure that all front desk staff follow specified procedures for handling cash, credit, and gift certificate transactions.
- Reconcile daily deposits and prepare revenue reports as directed.
- Promote and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Monitor the front desk and lobby areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Be familiar with hotel emergency procedures and provide assistance in emergencies.
- Report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas.
- Focus on safety and compliance with company safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular departmental operations meetings with the General Manager.
- Attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
- Perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
Essential Physical Abilities
- Frequently stand behind the desk and in front office areas.
- Carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work at a fast pace and under pressure at times.
- Handle various objects.
- Use a keyboard to operate property management and reservations systems.
