Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in New York is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead all Front Office operations and maintain a high level of guest service. This role provides mentorship and coaching to the team and will oversee two overnight shifts and three PM shifts.

You will review the Front Desk logbook, assist guests with services, ensure key and cash handling procedures are followed, and drive the department to meet service and payroll targets while delivering memorable

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hospitality management experience.
• Strong integrity and professional communication.
• Proficient reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Front Office operations and maintain high guest service.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to the Front Office team.
• Schedule and manage shifts, including overnights and evenings.
• Review logs, assist guests, and ensure proper key control.
• Meet service and payroll/expense targets and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure cash and credit handling procedures are followed.
