Job summary

Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport is seeking a dynamic Front Office Manager to oversee guest services in a 488-room property with extensive event space. The role leads front desk, bell desk and reservations teams to ensure staffing, training and guest satisfaction.

The position requires strong leadership, hotel systems knowledge, budgeting, and the ability to analyze data to maximize revenue. Weekend Manager on Duty duties and cross-department collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to five years experience as Assistant and/or Director of Front Office Operations.
• CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.
• Ability to obtain government required licenses or certificates.
• College education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate all front office personnel with daily supervision to include staffing, training, discipline, scheduling and monitoring performance to provide guest satisfaction.
• Check and control room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue. Compile and prepare financial reports, including rate and availability calendar.
• Communicate with guests and employees both verbally and in writing to answer questions and provide clear direction in advising and instructing staff.
• Implement and monitor all corporate/brand marketing programs.
• Perform room inspections and assist in check in/check out of guests or any related guest service activity.
• Participates in Manager on Duty program requiring weekend stay-over, constant monitoring throughout hotel and troubleshooting problems.
