Southeast Pain and Spine Care in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Front Office Floater PRN to be the first point of contact and ensure smooth front desk operations across multiple clinics.

The role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the flexibility to cover different locations. Prior medical front office experience is highly valued, with the PRN schedule offering varied shifts and exposure to a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience.
• Experience in a specialty medical practice preferred (pain management experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals, and medical terminology.
• Experience with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations.
• Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances.
• Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
• Scan and upload medical records and other documentation into the EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Assist with referrals and other front office administrative duties.
• Float between multiple office locations as needed to provide coverage.
