Southeast Pain and Spine Care is seeking a Front Office Floater (PRN) in Charlotte, NC. The role supports front desk operations across multiple clinic locations, providing high-level patient service and ensuring smooth check-in/out processes.

Responsibilities include scheduling, insurance verification, and coordinating with clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow. Travel between locations is required as needed, with training and professional development opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience.
• Experience in a specialty medical practice preferred (pain management a plus).
• Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals, and medical terminology.
• Experience with EMR systems, especially eClinicalWorks is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations.
• Professional appearance and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver excellent customer service.
• Check in and check out patients accurately.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Collect copays, deductibles, and balances.
• Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
• Maintain patient demographic and insurance information.
• Scan and upload records into EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical staff for smooth patient flow.
• Assist with referrals and other front office tasks.
• Float between multiple locations to provide coverage.
