Job summary

Therapeutic Associates Myrtle Creek Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Receptionist to provide front-desk support for the clinic in Oregon. You will greet visitors, manage the phone, schedule patients, collect payments, and assist with clerical duties to keep the practice running smoothly.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, proficiency with MS Office, and interest in fitness or physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Interest in Exercise Science, Sports Performance and Fitness preferred; PT-focused students are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate staff.
• Answer the phone and route calls appropriately.
• Schedule and confirm new and returning patient appointments.
• Minimize cancellations and empty appointment slots.
• Collect co-pays and patient insurance forms at time of service.
• Compile and record medical charts, reports and correspondence.
• Educate patients about insurance and how PT treatment plans work.
• Assist with PT aide duties when applicable.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
