Job summary

Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles is seeking a friendly Front Office Agent to welcome guests from check-in to check-out with warmth and efficiency.

You will assign rooms according to guest preferences, verify payment information, and promote hotel services and local attractions to enhance their stay. The role requires professional communication and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year guest service experience in hotel hospitality.
  • Experience with Property Management System, Opera preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; accommodate varying shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
  • Obtain and verify credit and payment information in line with hotel policies.
  • Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
  • Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
  • Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
