Job summary

Burlington is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to strengthen security and enhance the customer experience. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and support shortage reduction efforts across the store.

You will report theft incidents and collaborate with leadership while upholding safety standards and company values. This is a part-time role with benefits for eligible associates and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while monitoring the store.
• Excellent communication and energetic greeting with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the store entrances and exits and high-risk areas to deter theft.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and a loud, friendly greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
• Maintain safety and security standards and discipline, awareness of surroundings.
