Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to support a secure shopping environment while delivering friendly customer service. You will be stationed at store entrances/exits, monitoring for theft opportunities and engaging customers with a confident, greeting presence to deter loss.

You will work as part of the store team to identify suspicious activity, report incidents to the Manager on Duty, and promote safety and efficiency through knowledge of shortage reduction programs and strong

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to monitor store environment.
• Confidentiality and disciplined decision making are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance and be stationed at store entrances/exits to deter theft.
• Greet every customer with a warm, energetic greeting to promote control and security.
