Job summary

TJX Companies operates Marshalls and other banners; this role supports District Loss Prevention by deterring theft and ensuring store safety. You’ll work at the front of the store, wearing a Body Worn Camera, greeting customers, and guiding them to management when needed.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, basic security experience, and the ability to work independently while maintaining store safety standards and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound decision making abilities in fast paced settings.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively.
• Capability to stand for long periods.
• 0-2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss or dishonesty.
• Review the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a company-approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers, demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Respond to requests by referring customers to management or service.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with management.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
