Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, is hiring for a Loss Prevention role. You will support store management by acting as a visual deterrent, wearing a Body Worn Camera, and ensuring safety for customers and staff. Expect to work at the front of the store and coordinate with management via radio.

The position requires reliability, steady physical presence, and 0-2 years of retail or security experience. Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.60 per hour, with benefits and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• 0-2 years retail or security experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Sound decision making skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Prioritizes and organizes workload and manages time effectively.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a manager.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
