Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to support the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management. You will deter theft, maintain a safe storefront, and help protect the company brand while delivering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include front-of-store coverage, greeting customers, reporting incidents, following the Emergency Response Guide, and wearing a Body Worn Camera.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Sound decision making skills.
• Ability to take initiative and perform well independently.
• Prioritizes/organizes workload and manages time effectively.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• 0-2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review and follow the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a company-approved uniform and Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers with courtesy and respect.
• Stand at the front of store or in a department as directed.
• Refer customers to management or customer service via an issued radio when needed.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with a manager.
• Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
