Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate in Laurel, MD to support loss prevention and assist store management. You will hold a front-of-store position, greet customers, and promptly refer inquiries to leadership while wearing the required Body Worn Camera and uniform.

Responsibilities include monitoring for irregular activity, reporting incidents, and adhering to company policies. The role demands reliability, basic security awareness, and strong communication in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication.

• 0-2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss.
• Wear a Company-approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers and assist by directing to management or service.
• Respond to customer requests via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with management.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
