Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Bayonne, NJ is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to deter theft and protect the brand. You will wear a body worn camera, greet customers, and work at the front of the store or in a department to support store teams and management.

Responsibilities include following the Store Emergency Response Guide, reporting suspicious activity, and performing safety sweeps with management, while upholding company policies and providing a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss or dishonesty.
• Wear a Company-approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers with courtesy and respect.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with a manager.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
