Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention/Front-of-Store role at Marshalls in Redlands. The position focuses on deterrence of dishonesty, customer safety, and collaboration with store teams.

A uniform with a Body Worn Camera is required; you’ll engage customers and help manage front-of-store operations. Ideal candidates have strong communication, sound decision making, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound decision making abilities.
• Ability to take initiative and work well independently.
• Prioritizes and organizes workload; manages time effectively.
• Able to stand for long periods in a retail setting.
• 0–2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Acts as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review and follow Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear the approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers with courtesy and respect.
• Achieve front-of-store or department presence.
• Assist customers by directing them to store management or customer service.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Conduct a closing safety sweep with a manager.
