Job summary

The Press Club Grill in Sylacauga, AL is seeking a friendly front-of-house server to welcome guests, take and relay orders, and input them into the POS. You will make menu recommendations, remember allergens, and ensure guests have a great dining experience.

The ideal candidate is punctual, a team player, comfortable with fast-paced service, able to multitask, and willing to work nights and weekends. Previous customer-facing experience is highly valued in this role.

Responsibilities

6. Run food and drink orders for their tables and for other staff members.
7. Get guests a refill (or a second drink).
8. ID guests wanting an alcoholic beverage.
9. Complete guest transactions.
10. Keep track of credit card receipts and cash payment.
11. Encourage sign-ups to the restaurant’s loyalty/rewards program.
12. Bus tables.
13. Restock server stations with napkins, cutlery, condiments, and small plates.
14. Keep the soda station stocked with cups.
15. Refill ice at the soda station.
16. Do light prep work to assist the line cooks (e.g., refill ramekins with salad dressing, cut vegetables for garnishes).
