Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a dedicated hospitality professional to lead daily store operations and high-quality guest service. This non-exempt, hourly role focuses on managing shifts, training staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service and management experience in hospitality, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service in a hospitality environment (i.e. restaurant, hotel, etc.)
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in a hospitality environment
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Food Handler certification or local equivalent may be required; ability to work closing shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with positivity and clear communication.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues professionally.
• Motivate staff to provide swift, friendly service in a clean environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety laws and sanitation regulations.
• Assist General Manager with enforcing store procedures and policies.
• Cover all shifts and support stations when needed.
• Schedule, supervise, and monitor team attendance and time-off requests.
• Assign duties based on roles to optimize productivity.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to improve operations.
