Pura Vida Miami is seeking a Front-of-House Leader in Malibu, CA to ensure outstanding guest experiences and smooth daily operations. This non-exempt role focuses on service excellence, team coordination, and enforcing safety standards while supporting breaks and training.

You'll lead shifts, handle opening/closing duties, manage guest needs, and uphold company policies. Flexible weekend availability and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in customer service in a hospitality environment.
• High School Diploma or GED; 2 years of college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in management or leadership in a hospitality environment.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, ensuring clear communication with the team across service duties.
• Provide lead support during shifts; coordinate tasks and open/close duties.
• Deliver outstanding customer service; address issues and complaints professionally.
• Assist team members to exceed customer expectations with rapid, friendly service.
• Support front-of-house operations: running food, bussing tables, preparing beverages, covering breaks.
• Ensure compliance with food safety laws and sanitation standards.
