Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served.

The role also ensures the restaurant crew is well trained and provides excellent service, while keeping the line clean and equipment functioning. The position involves monitoring breaks, shift changes, and schedules; developing and cross training front-of-house crew; participating in performance reviews; and supporting office tasks such as

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety through hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, and Daily Food Safety Checklist adherence.
• Assist with resolving customer incidents and ensuring positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules; oversee cross-training of front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office duties such as banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork; maintain office equipment and supplies.
