Job summary

Trapper’s Sushi in Avondale, AZ is seeking a friendly Server who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will greet guests, guide them through the menu, take orders, and ensure accurate, timely delivery with a focus on guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attentiveness, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Candidates must live in Phoenix/Avondale and obtain required permits before starting. This is a NON-RELOCATION, on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in serving, customer service, or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal communication and professional guest interaction.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail when taking orders and processing payments.
• Must obtain a valid Food Handler's Permit prior to first day of work.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per state law.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with warmth to create a memorable experience.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, allergens, and recommendations confidently.
• Take and enter accurate orders into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages accurately and promptly.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and station organization.
• Handle payments and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Coordinate with hosts, sushi chefs, and kitchen staff on orders.
• Support to-go packaging and ensure order accuracy.
