Job summary

Three Notch'd Brewing Company in Northern Virginia is seeking a Front of House Floor Manager to lead and train all Front of House staff, supervise shifts and events, and ensure service standards are met in both bar and dining areas.

You will oversee hiring/training, manage daily tasks with the Assistant General Manager, and maintain beverage par levels, menus, and POS operations. Excellent guest service and leadership are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience in hospitality.
• Previous experience as a bartender or server.
• Very strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter, proactive, open-minded, positive approach.
• Ability to motivate and coach others.
• Highly effective multi-tasker.
• Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding guest service by maintaining a guest-friendly environment and high service standards.
• Assist with hiring, training and development of Front of House staff.
• Implement and maintain guest service standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with the Assistant General Manager on daily goals and tasks.
• Manage beverage inventory (beer, wine, liquor) and ordering.
• Develop beer and cocktail menus based on availability and demand.
• Oversee opening/closing responsibilities.
• Supervise staff during special events.
• Coach staff and handle issues with escalation to management.
• Support with scheduling, ordering, and inventory tasks.
• Support Event Sales with BEOs, contracts, and payments; post-event reporting.
